OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2011. AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines doubled frequency and optimized flights schedule between Kiev and Stockholm. Since the beginning of summer season (March 27th through October 29th, 2011) the frequency of carriages between the two countries’ capitals increased to 10 paired flights per week. AeroSvit supplemented daily day-time flights from Kiev with three evening flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A year ago the airline performed 5 flights to Stockholm per week (up to 6 flights per week in summer season’s peak period).

The new schedule allows to increase the number of connections of Stockholm flight at Borispol, the Ukrainian carrier’s base airport. Via Kiev, AeroSvit’s flights network connects the capital of with ’s largest administrative centres as well as with almost all AeroSvit’s international destinations, including New York, Toronto, Beijing, Delhi, Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Tbilisi, Baku, Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Yerevan, Moscow, Novosibirsk and others.

Besides that, from Stockholm AeroSvit’s passengers can proceed with their flights to cities of Sweden and other Scandinavian countries with the Ukrainian Airlines’ partners – Swedish and Icelandic carriers Skyways and Icelandair.
