OREANDA-NEWS. April 5, 2011. Belarusian companies are expected to increase malt barley procurement 41.3% on the year in 2011 to 212,000 tonnes, an official in Belgospischeprom concern stated.

Belsolod is expected to procure 149,000 tonnes of malt barley, Krinitsa 34,000 tonnes, Heineken Breweries 15,000 tonnes, Brest Beer 6,000 tonnes, Olivaria and Lida Beer 4,000 tonnes each.

Belsolod plans to produce 112,800 tonnes of malt in 2011; exports are projected at 80,000 tonnes, up 7.9% on the year.
