People's doubt about relationship between fast food and steel would be clarified instantly when entering kitchens of McDonald's, the global largest fast food supplier, seeing glittering stainless steel cupboards. Most stainless steel kitchen facilities of McDonald's chain stores in China and Southeastern Asia are manufactured by Baosteel products, reported the press-centre of Baosteel

Franke Artemis Group, established in Switzerland in 1911 is fortified global leader of "excellent kitchen culture" and famous merchants of stainless steel kitchen facility R&D and manufacture with 81 subsidiaries and 45 factories in five continents. Its annual sales total over 3 billion USD.

Fast food kitchen facilities of central stage, cupboards and fuel shade are made of certain hygiene stainless steel. McDonald's has severe requirements for kitchen hygiene, appearance and facility quality. Selection of raw material by Franke is strict that all stainless steel raw materials in its Chinese factories used to be imported and purchased from abroad to ensure product quality. 
Since stepping into stainless steel industry, Baosteel products gained increasing fame in market. In 2008, Franke released first commercial order to Baosteel and conducted two kinds of professional inspections for interior material quality and surface quality to ensure corrosion resistance, hygiene and zero fault surface. Their outstanding performances won users' applaud, while delivery service became key preferential terms. Baosteel Guangdong Foshan stainless steel trading and dispatching station fully displayed geographic advantages and adopted "JIT" mode for Franke with specified monthly demands, special sizes and specifications to be sent to user plants. Franke thus began batched purchase from Baosteel as designated supplier in stable monthly amount to be largely used in its Chinese factories.
 
In China and Southeastern Asia, Franke not only supplies stainless steel products for McDonald's kitchen facilities, but also for foreign fast food chain stores of Pizza-hut, KFC, etc. Baosteel green stainless steel products have closer contact with consumers inconspicuously with the opening of more and more fast food chain stores.
