OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2011. We would like to inform that annual report for 2010 of a/s “Citadele banka” is in development process. Considering the complicated restructuring process of a/s “Parex banka” and the complexity of reflecting it in financial statements, additional time is necessary for preparing clear and comprehensible financial reports on both audited and unaudited results in order to ensure shareholders of a/s “Citadele banka” with wholesome and precise information, reported the press-centre of Citadele Bank.

From August until December of year 2010 the portfolio of Citadele’s client deposits has increased by 52.8 million Lats and the total amount of deposits with the Bank amounted to 1.1 billion Lats at the end of 2010.

During this period, more than 6’000 new clients chose Citadele Bank’s services; the Bank has issued 24’918 new payment cards. From August until December 2010, the Bank’s loan portfolio decreased by 58 million Lats, reaching the amount of 690 million Lats at the end of the year. Citadele Bank performed the first early repayment of funding to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia for the amount of 17.3 million Euros or 12.2 Lats as early as in September of 2010.
