OREANDA-NEWS. April 4, 2011. Belarusian companies’ budget arrears increased 120% in January 2011 to 69.5 billion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of February 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Statistics Committee stated Thursday.

Of all arrears, charged but unpaid VAT rose 110% in January to 40.6 billion rubles.

Profit tax arrears amounted to 7.3 billion rubles, up 170% in January.

Property tax arrears reached 5.5 billion rubles, up 37.5% in January.

Land payment arrears were at 4.6 billion rubles, a fall of 4.2% in January.

Excise tax arrears reached 2.4 billion rubles, up 170% in January.

Deferred tax payments to the state budget went down 1.3% in January 2011 to 254.1 billion rubles.
