The versatile exposition of Turkmen goods aroused keen interest among local businessmen, specialists of various departments, large companies and private firms, and a cordial atmosphere reigning at the exposition created the conditions conducive to establishing business contacts and exploring a wide range of opportunities to promote Turkmen-Arab trade and economic relations.

The goods labelled “Made in Turkmenistan” strengthen the positions on world markets through the policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to expand fruitful cooperation with foreign states in all spheres, including the trade and economic sector. The high quality and competitiveness of commodities produced in Turkmenistan draw interest of the world’s leading firms and companies in the dynamically developing and promising Turkmen market.

This is vividly illustrated by rapt attention of leading Saudi Arabia companies and numerous visitors in the Turkmen commodity exposition that was a success in Riyadh. While discussing the prospects and proposals for bilateral cooperation, Arab businessmen showed keen interest in the export potential of our country. A number of meetings and consultations on the ways to increase effectiveness of cooperation, the opportunities to develop new forms of collaboration and exchange experiences were held within the exhibition. Specialists of the companies, who had displayed interest in the specific kinds of Turkmen goods, agreed to hold the business talks with Turkmen commodity producers.

The exposition drew a wide media response in Saudi Arabia: the articles about the exposition were published in the leading newspapers and magazines, the reportages and interviews with the members of the Turkmen delegation were broadcast on the TV channels of the country. All these testify to the keen interest aroused in Riyadh by the presentation of Turkmenistan’s economic potential and give cause to state that the success of the exhibition organized on the initiative of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will be continued in new business contracts and joint projects in the near future.
