OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2011. Сontinuous rolling pipe production line of Jiangsu Huanling Tin-Steel Special-Steel Co., Ltd., which was contracted by CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI) on an EPC basis, was formally put into operation after completion of thermal-load trial run on March 17, 2011. This is so far the most advanced such line all over the world. On the same date, the 110th seamless pipe (273?12?) was produced on a trial-run basis, reported the press-centre of MCC.

This production line is one of the key projects of Hualing during its location removal and transformation process, with a target to achieve transformation of product mix, enhance the equipment level and manufacture top quality products. The EPC Contract was formally awarded to CISDI on February 13, 2009. The contract scope covered one PQF seamless pipe production line with the most advanced technology of the world, two supportive finishing lines for common pipes, two heat-treatment production lines, one pipe-processing and specific pipe production lines and two nondestructive inspection lines.

This works witnessed several “First” of CISDI: this is the first successful application of large-diameter vertical-type plunger cycle device in the world, which was independently developed by CISDI with proprietary intellectual property rights; and on this ground, CISDI has developed itself into the very first Chinese engineering technical company capable of integration of the whole automatic system (including the power supply and distribution, electric drive, basic automation, process automation and manufacturing executive systems of the whole plant) and software debugging for seamless pipe production.
