OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2011. China COSCO convened the 23rd meeting of the second session of the Board in Beijing and Hong Kong via video conference, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

Chairman WEI Jiafu presided the meeting.  ZHANG Fusheng, Vice Chairman, the directors including ZHANG Liang, XU Lirong, SUN Yueying and CHEN Hongsheng, as well as independent directors including LI Boxi, Alexander Reid HAMILTON, CHENG Mo Chi and TEO Siong Seng attended the meeting.  Other participants included LI Yunpeng (Chairman of Supervisory Committee), WU Shuxiong (Supervisor), LUO Jiulian (Supervisor), YU Shicheng (Independent Supervisor), MENG Yan (Independent Supervisor), SUN Jiakang (Executive Vice President), XU Minjie(Executive Vice President), XU Zunwu (Executive Vice President), YE Weilong (Executive Vice President), LIU Guoyuan(Chief Law Officer),  HE Jiale (Chief Financial Officer), ZHANG Yongjian (Secretary of the Board).  The meeting agenda covered 13 items related to the 2010 annual results announcement and 14 items related to operations including persons selected for the Third Session of the Board.  All the proposals were accepted with unanimous approval.

On the same day, China COSCO held the 15th Meeting of the Second Session of the Supervisory Committee. Chairman LI Yunpeng chaired the meeting. Supervisors WU Shuxiong,  LUO Jiulian, as well as independent supervisors including YU Shisheng and MENG Yan attended the meeting. A total of  11 resolutions, including the Annual Report, Financial Report, Audit Report of China COSCO for 2010, Report of Supervisory Committee for 2010, Work Plan of Supervisory Committee for 2011 and persons selected for the Third Session of the Board were passed after deliberation.
