OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2011. In 2010, opened traffic of road transport on built and repaired roads with total length of 973 kilometers - almost 10 times more than in 2009. In particular, began to operate 199 km and 3 modern traffic intersection of the interval Route M-06 Kyiv-Zhytomyr-Rivne-Lviv-Chop, highway Kyiv-Chop in Rivne and Zhytomyr regions (I grade).

Put into operation two of the areas highways M-04 Znamianka - Lugansk - the border with Russia, which bypasses the city of Luhansk and Donetsk, which solves one of the main issues of regional centers – discharge from the city streets of large traffic transit transport. Contributed to solving transportation problems 12.3 km of highway (I grade), 5 bridges, 2 traffic intersections in different levels and one bridge of bypass the city of Donetsk.

Works completed at 24.7 km. road Znamynka-Lugansk-Izvaryne (II category) commissioned three two-level traffic intersection and railroad bridges over the river length of 150 meters and road in the village Rozkishne to overpass Luhansk.

November 12, repairs completed and opened traffic on the road which bypasses the city of Kharkiv (road category II).

October 27 on one of the most problematic areas of the international highway M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yagodin (length 5.4 km) in the Volyn region after the reconstruction movement opened. The road belongs to the first category.

Also contributed to solving the problems of other road transport facilities in particular, 7,3 km of highway to bypass the city of Chernivtsi (II category), 37.8 km of Krasnoarmiysk-Donetsk-Mykhailivka (II-III category), 45.4 km of Velyka Hlusa -Nevir, and other local road.

Despite ten time increase output, it was done under conditions of limited funding: at 2010 “Ukravtodor” received only 14% of the regulatory requirements.

Last year also laid a new highway Lviv-Krakovets, which run the highway that will connect Ukraine to Europe. According to the project after the construction of the Lviv-Krakovets length 84 km and the reconstruction of roads Lviv-Rivne and Zhytomyr-Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine will be connected to powerful international cargo route Kyiv-Lviv-Krakovets-Wroclaw-Krakow- Dresden-Berlin.

November 26, 2010 was signed the Credit and Project Agreement in preparation for the joint between Ukraine and EBRD Project “Improvement of transportation operational condition of the roads on the approaches to the city of Kyiv” according to which “Ukravtodor” received € 450 million EBRD loan for reconstruction and repair 400 km of roads.
