As a result of the review contest for the best organization of invention, rationalization and patent-licensing work arranged by the Society of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tatarstan TATNEFT has been named a winner among the enterprises in chemical, petrochemical and oil industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

For high performance in innovative activities the Company has been conferred the title "Best enterprise in inventions and rationalization in 2010" with the award of the Big Cup and the Diploma of the Republican Society of Inventors and Innovators. The honorable title has been awarded to TATNEFT for the eighth time.

10,516 inventions, utility models and innovative proposals were introduced into production in TATNEFT and 238 patents for inventions and utility models were received in 2010.

The economic effect of the innovations introduced has amounted to 4,894,600,000 rubles. The greatest economic benefit from the use of intellectual property and innovative proposals has been received in Almetyevneft, Aznakaevskneft and Leninogorskneft Oil and Gas Production Boards.
