OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. Signed agreements became the basis for organizing technological cooperation of the companies in all major functional areas.

OJSC "System Operator of the Unified Energy System (SO UES") has completed the signing of agreements on technological cooperation with all the distribution grid companies of OJSC "Holding IDGC".

Agreement between the System Operator and the branches of "Holding IDGC" are prepared on the base of the Model Agreement between OJSC “UES “and “Holding IDGC” on technological cooperation in order to ensure the reliability of the UES of Russia.

Signed agreements became the basis for organizing technological cooperation of the companies in all major functional areas. These included planning and management modes of UES of Russia, the development of the distribution power grid complex and technological connection, the output power lines, equipment and devices in the repair and decommissioning, preventing and elimination of failures at power facilities.

In addition, the agreements includes the issues of exploitation of power facilities and the participation of the System Operator in exercising control over their technical condition, investigate the causes of accidents, organization and exchange of technological information, creation, modernization and maintenance of relay protection etc.

Also, the agreements include a list of basic documents governing the interaction of technological control centers of the System Operator with the branches of Holding IDGC.
The agreements take into account the relevant legal and regulatory framework of the electricity sector and the current practice of the relationship of OJSC "System Operator of the Unified Energy System “and distributing grid companies.
Since the signing of these agreements, the previous agreement on technological cooperation signed between the System Operator and the distribution grid companies in 2005 – 2007, have expired and terminated.
