OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. A document was signed by the governor of the Vologda region Vyacheslav Pozgalyov and General director of "Holding IDGC" Nikolai Shvets.

March 28, 2011 in Vologda, was held a ceremony of signing an agreement “On the providing of reliable electricity supply and creation of the conditions for technological connection of consumers in the Vologda region”. A document was signed by the governor of the Vologda region Vyacheslav Pozgalyov and General director of "Holding IDGC" Nikolai Shvets.

In particular,  “Holding IDGC" as the controlling shareholder of  “IDGC North-West " intends to ensure measures, determined by the investment program of “Vologdaenergo”, in case of availability of tariff sources of financing. Also “Holding IDGC" will cooperate with “FGC UES", JSC “System Operator of the Unified Energy System” and generating companies. Beside that “Holding IDGC" takes measures to provide information security and counterterrorism on the power facilities.

In turn, Government of Vologda region intends to ensure the development and implementation of schemes and programs of the power development of the Vologda region, to promote the consideration of granting land for construction of engineering infrastructure, to ensure the approval of the Program of future development of measuring systems in the retail electricity market as part of the investment program of "Vologdaenergo ".

 The Parties  consider the possibility of consolidating the power grid assets in Vologda region, interact on the issues of ensuring energy security in case of emergency on the facilities of  "Vologdaenergo”,  provide interaction in the sphere of innovative development of electric grid complex through collaboration with scientific, research and educational organizations. 

Agreement shall enter into force upon its signing and is valid until December 31, 2015.
