OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. Swedish business community is ready to direct investments in the Ukrainian projects. Swedish companies are most interested in projects of railways, roads, improving traffic safety in Ukraine.

This was reported by Minister of Trade of Sweden Eva Borlinh during a meeting with First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Konstyantyn Efimenko infrastructure, to which were invited many representatives of Swedish business.

"I am convinced that the group of companies that came to Ukraine will find interesting projects for themselves.

We are ready to inform and maximally facilitate constructive dialogue – in order foreign investments will start working in Ukraine that our company took over the best experience" Konstyantyn Efimenko said.

He has presented guests the facilities and projects which Ukraine now is implementing. "Our Ministry is actively included in the process of Euro, because, of course, most projects are implemented in preparation for the Championship" - he said. According to First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, stadiums in Donetsk and Kharkov have completed. Sports arenas in Kyiv and Lviv put into operation in autumn.

Built up and aircraft complexes: in 2010, new terminals in Boryspil and Kharkiv fully put into operation. By the end of 2011 is planned to finalize and run into operation the new runway International Airport "Donetsk" length of 4 thousand meters that can receive any aircraft.

Runways at airports in Kharkiv and Lviv are completely renewing.

In addition, with the opening of new terminal at the end of the year will be significantly improved conditions of service of passengers at airports "Donetsk", "Lviv". The main terminal "D" of “Boryspil” airport with capacity of 3 thousand passengers per hour (put into operation in December 2011), also fully meets all European standards.

"Last year we put into operation 1000 km of roads, plans for this year - at least 900 km", - Konstantin Efimenko said, noting that if the necessary funding will be this number may be increased to 1300 km.

"Serious investments in infrastructure should be the introduction of high speed rail traffic in Donetsk and Lviv with speed 160 km per hour" - Deputy Minister of Infrastructure said.

Today Sweden is interested in expanding partnerships and increasing turnover, according to Minister of Trade of Sweden Eva Borlinh. "There are many Swedish companies interested in cooperation with Ukraine - she said. Now Sweden holds the 8 th place in volume of direct investment - and we are ready to develop our economic relations with Ukraine.
