Compared with last year, the interest in the exhibition has grown significantly. The figures this year have reached record levels, with World Food Uzbekistan 2011 and AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2011 together presenting over 140 companies from 28 countries - more than 100 companies at World Food Uzbekistan 2011 and about 40 at AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2011.
There are also 70 newcomers to the exhibition, 48 of them at World Food Uzbekistan 2011 and 22 at AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2011. Among the participating countries are: Austria, Belgium, UK, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Israel, India, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey , Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, South Korea, Japan and Sweden.
Continuing the tradition of last year, for the convenience of our visitors, the exhibitions will be clearly divided into two thematic pavilions - Food Industry in the Central Pavilion and Agriculture in the Atrium Hall and outdoor exhibition area of Uzexpocentre.

The food equipment sector remains the most important for companies involved in food production. Among the foreign exhibitors in this sector are: MGT Liquid & Process Systems (Israel), ICF Welko (Italy), TECNOFOOD GROUP (Italy), PSS Svidnik (Slovakia), Kutlusan (Turkey), and the newcomer Reveyron (France), which manufactures conveyor belts for conveyor production. The domestic exhibitors include companies presenting a wide range of food, shop and refrigeration equipment: Cool Sistem, Pakografix, R-Keeper, Dom Oborudovaniya, Kholod Sistem Service, Viniks and others.
The professional “Master of Quality” tasting contest is a separate event within the exhibition. The contest was first held in 2008 and has already become popular with exhibitors and visitors. This year, 40 types of product will compete for the title of “Master of Quality”. The contest will be held on 28 March, with a professional jury assessing each product in the following categories: flour and flour products, cereals, oil and fat products, confectionery products, canned foods, food additives and ingredients, juices, beer, and tea. As in the past, there is a high level of interest in AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2011 from foreign companies, which can be found in the following sectors: crop production (from nurseries and planting material to protection and fertilisers), and poultry production (from chicks and poultry farm construction to equipment and technology for feeding and care). The crop production sector will include the newcomer Vandeputte NV (Belgium), which each year produces about 5 million plants; Satimex (Germany), a specialist in seed selection; Astrachem (Saudi Arabia), a producer of fertilisers; and Sakata (France), an exporter of seeds whose stand promises to generate a lot of interest. For the exhibition Sakata has prepared a presentation of innovative products: pink tomato hybrids and Kirkma type melons. Karsu, which builds refrigeration plants for the storage of fruits and vegetables, is taking part in the exhibition for the first time.
The poultry production sector will feature: Hellman Poultry (Germany), Big Dutchman (Germany), PE Techna (Ukraine), TH Belagro (Russia/Belarus), Nutristar (France), Pyatigorskselmash (Russia), Imkon Sut Fayz & Imkon Premix (Uzbekistan), Chilanzar parranda (Uzbekistan), Nezhinselmash (Ukraine), and Svit Kormiv (Ukraine).
