Real Individual Incomes Increased 25.4% in Belarus
OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 25.4% on the year in January 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.
Individual incomes rose 38.7% on the year in January, while consumer prices increased 10.6% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 25.4% in real terms.
Real disposable incomes went up 24.3% on the year in January 2011.
Incomes per capita amounted to 1,002,700 rubles in January 2010.
Compensations accounted for 65% of total incomes in January 2011, up from 61.4% in January 2010.
Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 22.2%, down from 24.5% in January 2010, and incomes entrepreneurial activities an other income-gaining activities for 10.2%, down from 10.3%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 2.6%, down from 3.8%.
