OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2011. It was said by the Moldtelecom’s commercial director Ion Rosca during the round table “Advantages and opportunities of the ICT sector liberalization for consumers and operators of the industry”.

He said Moldtelecom is ready to provide its infrastructure to all operators of this sector in Moldova, thanks to the investments made in 2010-2011. The enterprise will also offer ports of the wideband access and transport throughout Moldova to the ICT sector’s companies, for them to be able to provide Bitstream and capacities renting services.

According to him, the national fixed telephony operator’s mission is to be the locomotive of the ICT sector development in Moldova, by providing technical support for development of all market operators and by encouraging loyal competition. Ion Rosca said the company as early as in 2010 had set continuation of the market liberalization to provide equal opportunities for all operators as its activity’s priority task.

The chairman of the National Association of Private Companies of the ICT Sector of Moldova Veaceslav Cunev said this cooperation would become a strong catalyst for the telecommunications market development in Moldova.
