OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2011. SOLLERS Group of companies announced the results of its car sales under the government Recycling Program. Altogether, since the launch of the Program (March 2010 – present), it sold 10,023 cars, which is more than 11% of total SOLLERS sales over the same period.

UAZ models (with their sales volume reaching 5,453 cars) were the most popular among all SOLLERS brands under the recycling program. The aggregated share of FIAT was 3,862 passenger cars и commercial vehicles, the share of SsangYong was 708 vehicles.

Government program for recycling old cars was launched in March 2010. Under this program, the owner of any car aged 10 years or older, could hand it over at the recycling station and get a discount of 50,000 rubles for purchasing a new car. "The government recycling program has become one of the key drivers of growth in the recovery period of Russian automotive market, said Vadim Shvetsov, General Director of SOLLERS JSC, – Throughout the program, SOLLERS used its own incentives: additional discounts on vehicles, reduction of retail prices and loan rates. We are keeping available all these bonuses to our buyers in the future, despite the fact that the quota to Certificates of recycling for 2011 is already fully used".

In particular, special offers on FIAT cars assembled in Russia will still be in effect. The highest discount - 60,000 rubles - is available on FIAT Linea Turbo sedan.  Thus, the initial price of this richly-equipped and a powerful (120 hp) car is 534,900 rubles, which is one of the most attractive offers in the niche of C-Segment sedans. The discount on FIAT Albea B-Segment sedan and FIAT Doblo Panorama passenger minivan is 30,000 rubles, which reduces the initial prices of these cars to 368,300 rubles and 501,300 rubles, respectively.

The discount on all versions of FIAT Ducato commercial vehicles, except short wheelbase van, is 50,000 rubles, and on the most compact van it stands at 30,000 rubles. Thus, the initial price of the most affordable Ducato currently stands at 649,000 rubles, which is only 10% more than the closest analogue, manufactured in Russia and also equipped with a diesel engine.

Finally, SOLLERS-Credit, a SOLLERS subsidiary, that offers financial services to customers, has introduced a new credit program for buyers of FIAT Albea, under which the interest rate is reduced to 0%, and an additional discount is provided for the cars with certain packages.

SOLLERS Group continues to be the exclusive manufacturer and importer of FIAT cars in the Russian market (as long as there is no other agreement) and will continue to fully perform all its obligations under this status: develop FIAT dealer network, ensure delivery of new vehicles, spare parts, marketing support for products and services.
