OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2011. JSC Latvijas Biznesa Banka merged with JSC Eesti Krediidipank. The consolidation resulted in JSC Eesti Krediidipank Latvia Branch providing services to all customers of JSC Latvijas Biznesa Banka, reported the press-centre of Latvijas Biznesa Banka.

The decision regarding the transfer of activities of JSC Latvijas Biznesa Banka to JSC Eesti Krediidipank was adopted by the shareholders of both banks in 2010.

JSC Eesti Krediidipank Latvia Branch offers its customers all basic banking services such as settlement services, bank cards, loans and deposits, securities services, etc.

During the bank consolidation procedure, law office “Tark, Grunte, Sutkiene” provided its legal support and this transaction was approved by the Financial and Capital Market Commission of the Republic of Latvia.

Please note that these changes will not affect any daily banking transactions of the customers. Agreements on settlement accounts, payment cards, deposits, loans and other banking services will continue in effect. Account numbers and internet-bank will remain unchanged.

Like in Latvia, in respect of all deposits there will be applied a guarantee provided by the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Estonia up to 100 000 EUR for one depositor.

In the near future a new office at 21 Kr. Valdemara Street, Riga, (Valdemara Centre) will be opened.
