OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2011. Shri U.K.Sinha, Chairman, SEBI, inaugurated the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) Branch of IDBI Bank in Mumbai today in the presence of Shri R.M.Malla, Chairman & Managing Director, IDBI Bank Limited.

At the occasion Shri Sinha expressed his pleasure in inaugurating the 806th branch of IDBI Bank at BKC, which is emerging as an important commercial location in Mumbai. The newly inaugurated Branch would help expand the bank's retail reach and would cater to the needs and aspirations of the large number of professionals working in the area.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony Shri R.M.Malla said, "IDBI Bank, indeed, has transformed from a Development Financial Institution (DFI) into a new generation, full- service commercial bank, offering full spectrum of financial products & services, in the areas of retail and corporate banking, agriculture, MSME and other segments of financial services besides carrying out the DFI activities as well."
