PM of Moldova Does Not Satisfied with Government Reforms
OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2011. He made this statement during the government’s meeting, noting that he will start visiting all ministries and departments and the biggest enterprises subordinated to them starting from the next week to hold discussions with their leadership and staff and to familiarize with the reforms implementation process and faced problems.
Prime Minister said he was going to find out whey the government’s normal activity is being hampered. Vladimir Filat said he would be speaking not only with the ministries’ leadership, ministers, deputy ministers but also with heads of departments in order to assess the work and study the problems faced by them and to have a clear picture of the ministries’ activity. He didn’t rule out that cabinet reshuffle might take place following these visits and assessment of the situation in the ministries.
According to the Prime Minister, it should be done now, for it not to be late. He stressed the importance of the efficient implementation of reforms and presenting the respective first report at the Moldova-EU Cooperation Committee’s meeting on May 5. According to him, it is imperative for liberalization of the visa order for Moldovan citizens and signing the agreement on the comprehensive and deepened free trade area between Moldova and the EU.
