OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2011. Only a few days remain until the opening of the 11th international World Food Uzbekistan exhibition. The leading food exhibition in Uzbekistan will begin on 29 March in Uzexpocentre, Tashkent.

Every year, World Food Uzbekistan introduces industry professionals to new kinds of products and equipment, and helps strengthen business partnerships and develop the food industry and agribusiness in the promising market of Uzbekistan.

This year is no exception. World Food Uzbekistan 2011 will bring together the most advanced and professional companies in the industry. The exhibition is expected to present over 100 companies from 26 countries.

This year, the exhibition will feature a German national stand for the first time, which will present ten manufacturers including companies already well-known in Uzbekistan, such as Big Dutchman, Fritsch, KHS, Kronen and Multivac, and companies present for the first time at World Food Uzbekistan with products made in Germany: Plattenhardt & Wirth, Thermofin, Tipper Tie, Exima and Wachtel. The participation of German companies is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.

In his welcome letter to the exhibitors, Wolfgang Neuen, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Uzbekistan, notes: “German companies have vast experience and will be able to demonstrate their products and opportunities for expanding cooperation in this important sphere of the economy. The achievements of German companies are highly valued throughout the world and can be useful for Uzbekistan also.”
