OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC has paid 1.54 million rubles to Novyj Byt ZAO, located in Nikolayevskiy area of Volgograd region, in connection with property damage.

Real property of Noviy Byt ZAO was insured in Ingosstrakh OJSIC in March 2010 for a total amount of 12.2 million rubles. Policy covered such risks as fire, lightning strike, gas explosion, natural disasters, water damages, home-invasion robbery and plundering, damage by combustion gases in the result of the fire, collision of vehicles, crashing of piloted flying objects.

The hurricane, which had damaged several insured objects in November 2010 – workshop building, offices, cowsheds, and warehouses – became the insured event. The accident was recognized as insured one, and Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid indemnification for the company according to the terms of the contract.

Insured real estate is pledged property of Volgograd regional branch of Russian Agricultural Bank JSC  (OJSC) within the loan received.
