OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2011. It was said at the meeting in Chisinau with Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat by the head of the European Investment Bank Department for Eastern Europe Constantin Sinadiono, who is leaving his post after seven years of work.

Constantin Sinadino noted the fruitful cooperation with Moldova: during his activity in the country, a whole number of projects was initiated and successfully implemented in the country, and the year of 2010 was especially successful. He said he was sure new success would be achieved in cooperation of the EIB with Moldova, as there is a potential and it should be properly used. He highly appreciated the constant support provided by the bank, saying that Moldova is interested in implementation of the infrastructural, energy and ecological projects. As was reported earlier, in 2010, the EIB approved for Moldova the projects, stipulating restoration of the national roads, restructuring of the wine-making complex, provision of populated localities with drinking water, purchasing new trolleybuses and others.
