OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2011. ALIDI, leading Russian provider of logistic and distribution services, summarizes results of the FY 2010 and announces projects, which influenced the company’s turnover growth in 2010.

In 2010 the company implemented a number of important projects for business development:

In March ALIDI started distribution of Wrigley goods to the region of Vologda. Wrigley and ALIDI have been partners for more than 3 years and it is the most fast-moving distribution contract ALIDI has now.

In June ALIDI launched a department of foodstuff distribution in North-West region. Contract pool includes products of such companies as Pit-Product, Bunge, Desan, Nevskie siri, Kronstadt meat-processing plant and others.

In July ALIDI began to provide warehousing logistic services in Moscow. Jens Eichhorst was invited as Deputy General Director, responsible for ALIDI development of contract logistic business in the Moscow region.

In August ALIDI launched distribution of non-food goods and concluded contracts in Nizhny Novgorod with such companies as Upeco, Rusalochka, Rossel.

In October ALIDI got license for storage and sales of alcohol production in Nizhny Novgorod. Currently ALIDI has the license for storage and sales of alcohol production in two branches – Nizhny Novgorod and Kaliningrad.

In December ALIDI bought five trucks in Nizhny Novgorod in order to develop the department of international traffic.

In 2010 the project of the construction of the 2nd warehouse in Nizhny Novgorod received the status of top investment project of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This year ALIDI for the second time was named the winner of the “Best Russian Logistic Services Provider” award, organized by EALA.

“In 2010 ALIDI has implemented a range of long-term projects and succeeded in development of two important business strategies: development of contract logistics and foodstuff distribution, - says Peter Demchekov, General Director at ALIDI Group. – In compairison with the previous year the number of SKUs picked up in a month increased by 200000 and number of delivered orders by 5500; while  staff number increased only by 38. We will follow the previously chosen strategies and hope show even better results in 2011”.
