OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. This summer, Vladivostok Air will start a new flight Khabarovsk — Krasnoyarsk — Samara.

The airline continues to develop the en-route chart of flights. On June 14th, 2011 will be new flights from Khabarovsk to Samara with intermediate stop in Krasnoyarsk.

Once a week, on Tuesdays, passengers will have the opportunity to visit the city on the Volga. Departure A320 aircraft from Khabarovsk is scheduled for 12:30 pm from Krasnoyarsk at 15:20 and arrives in Samara at 16:30 (local time). The return flight is also departed on Tuesdays from Samara at 18:00, from Krasnoyarsk the plane takes off on Wednesday at 02:10, and arrives to Khabarovsk at 09:25.

It is gratifying that Vladivostok Air opened flight in Samara, which is one of the centers of the aerospace industry in Russia. Contribution of Samara inhabitants in the creation of the aviation industry is widely known to everybody — the production of Tu-154 was in this city. Confirmation of that is monument of fame, which is a 13-meter figure of a worker holding a raised hand wings, created at the central square.

Tourists arriving to Samara with pleasure can follow the Volga by riverboat, and nobody leave indifferent looking at the picturesque view over the Zhiguli Mountains.

Many tourists are intrigued Stalin’s bunker raised in1942 in a secret environment. The bunker is located at a depth of 37 meters, it became a museum, having the Great Patriotic War exposition.
