OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. OJSC Uralkali is aware of the official statement made by Migao Corporation (China) where it announces agreement with Potash Export Company, an entity established by Russian-based potash producers. According to the statement the agreement foresees supply of up to 500 000 tonnes of potash per year for ten years, starting from 2013.

Being one of the two Russian potash producers Uralkali states it is neither the establisher nor stakeholder of Potash Export Company. Furthermore, Uralkali has made no agreements with Migao Corporation as well as Potash Export Company. The exports of Uralkali are channeled through Belarusian Potash Company (BPC). Uralkali further states BPC has entered into no agreements with Chinese Migao Corporation regarding potash supply.
