OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. As of the 1-st of March, 2011, forty-five enterprises were registered as FEZ Gomel-Raton residents, including 24 commercial organizations with foreign investments (13joint ventures and 11 foreign enterprises).

Seven new enterprises were registered as FEZ residents in 2011:

     - LLC "Ecological Systems - Mozyr" (creation of a small plant

     on rubber crumb production);

     - LLC "NTG Plus" (creation and operation of a plant on solid

     domestic waste and industrial waste treatment);

     - LLC "Greenfloor" (synthetic grass surface production);

     - Joint LLC "BelVena Ltd" (paper cartridges with rolled over

     brim production);

     - Public JSC "Ritm" (aluminium rod production);

     - Joint LLC "BelTFI-Line" (cutting tool production);

     - LLC Joint Belarussian-Ukrainian Enterprise "Kateh-Polesiye"

     (high quality oxygen-free copper rolled wire production).

More than USD 33 million of foreign investments was attracted in 2010. The growth rate of foreign investments comparing to 2009 is 163.9%. Direct foreign investments grew 1.8 times and reached USD 32 million.

During the years FEZ Gomel-Raton has been working it attracted more than USD 140 million of foreign investments.

FEZ residents invested BYR 88 billion into capital assets in 2010, which is 30 percent higher than the volume of capital assets investment in 2009.

During the years FEZ Gomel-Raton has been working more than BYR 400 billion of foreign investments were invested into capital assets.

Production volume in actual prices reached BYR 1 009.7 billion in 2010 and grew 24.3% comparing to 2009.

Export growth rate reached 142% comparing to 2009. Enterprises-residents of FEZ Gomel-Raton had export-import transactions with 63 countries in 2010.

FEZ Gomel-Raton territory is larger than 5300 ha; it includes production premises in Gomel, Gomel district, Rechitsa and Mozyr.

More than 9 100 square meters of production premises were rented by FEZ residents and around 150 000 square meters were bought out by them.

More than 497 new workplaces were created in 2010. Total quantity of people working at enterprises residents of FEZ Gomel-Raton is more than 10 thousand people.
