OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 7.8% on the year in January-February 2011, an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee stated.

Industrial output in January-February increased 11.1% on the year to 31.132 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 5.6% to 3.069 trillion rubles.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
