RTS Announced Changes in Organization of Trading

OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. To lower the risk attached to trades in telecommunications companies’ securities which will be cancelled following their conversion into securities of Rostelecom the following changes in organization of trading in such securities will be implemented:

executing trades in ordinary shares of OJSC "Uralsvyazinform" (RTS Standard ticker URSI) with settlements on March 25, 2011 and later will be prohibited starting from the evening session on March 18, 2011 (trading day as of 21.03.2011) in the Tplus 4 trading mode (RTS Standard).

Starting from March 21, 2011 ordinary shares of OJSC "Uralsvyazinform" (RTS ticker URSI) will be excluded from trading in the electronic trading mode.  At the same time submitting indirect orders in this instrument will be permitted in the non-anonymous trading mode (RTS Classica ticker URSI) and on-exchange trading mode with settlement on Tplus 0 (RTS Tplus 0 market ticker URSIG).

Starting from March 21, 2011 executing trades in the following instruments with settlement on April 1, 2011 and later will be prohibited in the non-anonymous trading mode (RTS Classica) and on-exchange trading mode with settlement on Tplus 0.

Please be informed that trading in above-mentioned securities will be suspended not later than on a business day following the day when information agencies release the information on sending an application on introduction of a record on the reorganization in the form of merger into the Unified State Registry of Legal Entities.
