WISCO Started 1st Batch Export for Auto Steel
OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. An oceangoing freighter full of WISCO’s 4000-tonne auto steel arrived at Bilbao port in Spain, which is the first time for WISCO to export auto steel in batches to overseas market, reported the press-centre of WISCO.
Confronting complicated international steel market, the International Trade Company, a branch of WISCO, proactively adjusts overseas marketing strategies: focusing on developing emerging markets, raising the ratio of “high value-added and high technology products” exports, diversifying customers’ channels, so as to strengthen and enhance WISCO Brand’s share and impact in international market.
The exported auto steel will be used for manufacturing Peugeot and Citroen by local car maker which has been using steel from other suppliers. Through small-lot trial production with WISCO’s steel and technical communication, the car maker was convinced by the products quality and technological service as well as sales service of WISCO.
Following the signing of the contract, the International Trade Company made close cooperation with Sales Company, Manufacturing Plant, Cold Rolling Plant, Quality Inspection Center, and started loading and shipping on January 15, 2011. At the end of February, the importer signed another 3000-tonne auto steel contract with WISCO.
