Russian Govt OKs Murmansk SEZ Supervisory Board
OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2011. Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina has signed an order approving the composition of the Supervisory Board of the Murmansk Port Special Economic Zone (PSEZ) in the Murmansk region, the press service of the regional government said.
According to the regional administration, Murmansk Governor Dmitry Dmitrenko, the authorities and non-government organizations of Murmansk region and the Kola district were elected to the PSEZ Board.
The Board is to focus on coordination of the activities of local and federal authorities, as well as monitoring the implementation of the SEZ project.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a government decree on October 12, 2010 (№ 800) establishing Special Economic Zone within the Kola district and Murmansk City of the Murmansk region.
