OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2011. The results of the work on civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, and fire safety for 2010 were summarized at Electrochemical Plant PA OJSC (an enterprise of TVEL, Rosatom Fuel Company).

“Upon the whole, we can speak of a high level of the enterprise personnel readiness to act in the conditions of emergency situations of both peaceful and war times, that was repeatedly confirmed in the course of complex inspections of branch and federal levels”, — Head of the Enterprise Civil Defense Department, ES and MP Vladimir Stolyarov summarized.

In the course of the year the appropriate service has performed a great work on training of the enterprise subdivisions and personnel for the actions in the conditions of emergency situations of peaceful and war time. The training of civil defense command personnel was performed, and medical aid posts were established. In the course of special tactical drills, the protective structures (shelters) personnel readiness to act under emergency situations conditions was checked. Besides, in 2010 a scheduled enterprise personnel training on the topics of civil defense and emergency situations was conducted. Totally 7,280 people received training within the year, among them – 330 command level officers.

Within the framework of fire safety control, 393 people in the year past received training in fire-technical minimum. Department fire-technical committees and voluntary fire brigades serve in the enterprise. 418 people are included into the voluntary fire brigades, equipped with outfit, special clothes and respiratory protection.
