Turkmen Exchange Concluded 36 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2011. 36 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials of Turkmenistan last week.
The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for a variety of products. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates bought stove gasoline (produced at Seydi oil refinery), buyers from Afghanistan bought L-0.2-62 diesel fuel, businessmen from the Virgin Islands – polypropylene produced at Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Technical iodine A grade (Turkmenhimiya State Concern) was the choice of buyers from China. Representatives of the business circles of Russia, Germany, Turkey, the Virgin Islands and the Marshall Islands bought jeans articles, including men’s, women’s and children’s trousers, gray cloth, dyed fabric, wadding, denim waste, cotton cake, ginned cotton. The transactions in the foreign currency totalled over USD 46.52 million.
The transactions in deposit manats were concluded for jacquard coverlets, dyed terry towels, cotton yarn, gray cloth, coarse calico, raw silk, washed camels and goat hair, cattle skin, wet blue semi-products, cotton flake, caramel. The buyer countries: China, Iran, UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Belize, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. The transactions concluded in deposit manats totalled over 8.769 million manats.
Turkmen businessmen bought fibrous uluk, equipment and devices to the sum of over 1.192 million manats.
