OJSC Koks Creates New Pneumatic Collapsing System
OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. Work is being completed to create a new pneumatic collapsing system at Koks' coal preparation division. The need to improve the pneumatic collapsing system of the charge warehouse is due to the fact that the factory mainline was insufficient for effective charge collapsing in the pressure silos. With the required pressure of six atmospheres, air with a pressure of three atmospheres was fed. As a result, a great deal of sticky charge remained, which adhered to the walls. To work with this pressure, the fast-acting valves, compressor and airguns have already been installed.
Now, specialists from the Specialized Coking Equipment Repair Workshop No. 2 are installing and framing the air accumulator. The system is slated for launch at the end of the month. To ensure that the tests of the improved system's efficiency are as precise as possible, silo No. 1, which is ready for a new load of charges, has been completely cleaned.
