OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. The Turkmen-Belarusian Commission for economic cooperation held the regular meeting in the conference hall of the President Hotel in the Turkmen capital.

The high-level bilateral forum became a new step to strengthen further close economic relations that corresponded fully to the increasing willingness of the two friendly countries to intensify fruitful and mutually advantageous cooperation.

Upon concluding the meeting, the protocol of the third meeting was signed, and a number of the bilateral documents aimed enhancing fruitful partnerships, in particular in the areas of standardization, metrology, certification and the tourism and sport sectors.

The participants expressed belief that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus built on a long-term and mutually beneficial basis would be furthered successfully in the interests of the two friendly nations.
