OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. OJSC “Company “M.Video” (RTS, MICEX: MVID), Russia’s largest consumer electronics retailer, and Austrian Software Company, New Technology Systems Limited “NTS”, announced today that they have signed agreements for Software and Consulting Services for Retail Store Point of Sale and In Store Systems, worth up to 9.0 Million Euros over the next three years.

M.Video will be the largest client of NTS, and the IT-company plans to widen its services for other Russian retailers after implementing the new infrastructure at M.Video.

This investment builds on the very considerable investments already being made by M.Video, in SAP Supply Chain Management and Predictix Merchandising Assortment and Forecast Management, with its aim of being the No.1 for consumer electronic customers in Russia.

M.Video will deploy NTS Wincash Point of Sale and Store Back Office systems across its estate of 8,500 work stations. More than 20,000 of its employees will work with NTS Wincash on line across its Customer Care, Sales, Store Logistics, Store Warehousing, Point of Sale, Checkout, Home Delivery and Pick up departments. All aspects of its in store business processes and customer interactions will be improved in support of M.Video’s customer centric philosophy and vision.
