SEB Group to Change System of Making Euro Transfers
OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. The system of making euro transfers to SEB Group banks will change. The change makes settlements with partners who hold accounts in SEB Group banks more flexible than before, as it is possible to choose between transfer speed and good price, reported the press-centre of SEB Group.
If the transfer must reach the beneficiary on the same settlement day, you must submit an international payment order at a branch or in the Internet Bank before 3 pm on business days and select ‘urgent payment’ or ‘express payment’ as the payment type. The price of the transfer is 1.93 euros, or 4.79 euros at a branch, irrespective of the amount. Transfers made after 3 pm reach the beneficiary on the next settlement day.
Making transfers costs less if the payment type selected for the international payment is ‘regular’ or the payment is made as a SEPA payment. In both cases, the transfer will reach the beneficiary not later than on the third settlement day. The price of a transfer of up to 50,000 euros is 0.38 euros in the electronic channel and 1.09 euros at branches, and the price of transfers that exceed 50,000 euros is 1.92 euros in the electronic channel and 4.79 euros at branches.
The change only concerns transfers made in euros. Transfers to SEB Group banks in all other currencies are still made as express payments regardless of the payment type chosen by you and they all cost 1.92 euros. Transfers reach the beneficiary on the same settlement date if the payment order is submitted before 3 pm on business days.
