OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2011. Branch of the “European bureau” OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation paid the reinsurance recovery IOJSC “National Insurance Group” in the amount 968.2 thousand rubles for the fact of death of crops. Risks were taken under the agreement of the facultative proportional reinsurance.

Under direct contracts were insured winter crops of rape on the grounds of one of the largest agricultural producers in the Kaliningrad region. In the period December 2009 – January 2010, due to extremely low temperatures for this area and very little snow there was freezing winter rape. This case was considered insurance. After receiving the complete package of documents Branch the European Bureau of OJSC Transsiberian Re paid out his share of loss in the amount of 968,525 rubles.
