OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2011. A Representative Office of State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ was opened in the city of Zurich (the Swiss Confederation).

The Representative Office’s activity is to be aimed at raising financial resources for the Russian economy and direct investments for high-technology sectors in order to modernize the Russian industry.

The Representative Office’s activity is planned to expand cooperation between Vnesheconombank and the largest Swiss banks, government financial institutions as well as the Swiss Export Risk Insurance Agency.

At present, Vnesheconombank has opened its rep offices in Great Britain, Germany, India, Italy, China, France and the Republic of South Africa.
