OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2011. TATNEFT and Continental AG have held negotiations about the production of tires under the off-take business arrangement, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.

Zagit Sharafeev, Deputy General Director of TATNEFT - Director of Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company, participated in the negotiations on behalf of the Petrochemical Holding Company, while the German side was represented by Bernd Guenther, Vice President of Continental AG, and Yaron Vidmayer, Director of the Moscow Representative Office.

In the course of the talks and in the framework of the Agreement concluded with Continental in December 2007 it was decided to manufacture and ship to the German firm more than 20 thousand tire pieces of 20 models in the second quarter of this year under the off-take system (tire production under the order for other brands) for their assembly under the brand of Continental.

Participants of the meeting have also addressed the issues of the pricing policy for the second quarter of 2011.
