OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation, officially thanked Open Joint-Stock Company KAMAZ for a major contribution to technical support of the KAMAZ-master team which achieved great sports showings at the Dakar 2011 international rally.

It was said in the RF President’s Order No 120-rp and in a letter sent to the company’s management from the RF President’s executive office.

In that way, the RF President again emphasized a significant role of KAMAZ, its managers, specialists and workers in outstanding success of the KAMAZ-master team at off-road rally raids. The company remains the chief sponsor and a technological basis meeting requirements of the team in modern racing vehicles, other machinery and accessories during all 23 years of its existence. Not long ago, Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, said that the company intends to support KAMAZ-master in the future as it is the best company in the world in its kind of sport.
