OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2011. Experts designated by the China National Coal Association and the Science and Technology Department of Shanxi Province appraised 24 scientific research projects conducted by the Datong Coal Mine Group, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine Group. 

The experts concluded that among the 24, three projects, including "Key Technology Study on 'Pulse Infusion-Shot Firing' Combined Weakening of Top-coal Caving in Thick Hard Coal Seam with Hard Roof in Datong Coal Mine", are leading the international researches on the same topic; 18 projects, including "Roadway Supporting Technology in Inclined Seam of Geological Tectonic Compression Belt in Carboniferous Areas of Datong Coal Mine", have reached the international advanced level; "Study on Comprehensive Measuring Technology of Ultra-long Transfixion Project in Outsize Well of Datong Coal Mine" is leading the domestic researches on the same topic; and two projects: "Study of Impact of Mining Pressure Caused by Fully Mechanized Sublevel Caving on Coal Pillars in Thick Seams in Xuangang Coal Mine" and "Integrated Disposal Technology in Coal Gangue Piles of Datong Coal Mine Group" have reached the domestic advanced level.
