OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC has paid over 2.1 mln. rubles to Agro-Perspektiva LLC, located in Alekseevsky district of Samara region.

The object of insurance was the seeds of winter barley on the area of 1 223 hectares, insured in August, 2009, by the branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC in Samara. The seeds were insured against storm, hail, freezing, frost-killing, drought, earthquake, excessive humidification, downpour, unusual natural conditions, high water, and rain waters. The total insurance sum under the agreement amounted to 4 mln. rubles.

The insurance event was the last summer’s drought, which resulted in partial destruction of barley seeds. The examination showed that the incident was the insurance case, and Ingosstrakh has paid the company insurance indemnity in accordance with the agreement conditions.

The harvest insured was the object of pledge in Samara regional branch of Rosselkhozbank OJSC for the loan obtained.

Ingosstrakh OJSIC has been cooperating with Agro-Perspektiva LLC since 2007. During this time, agricultural machines and the future harvest of agricultural plants were insured. In 2009, Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid the company an indemnity insurance in the amount of 3 mln. rubles in connection with partial destruction of the harvest of sunflower, flax, millet, chick-peas, and buckwheat.
