OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2011. Joining the Tallinn office of SEB Enskilda Baltic Equities (SEB Enskilda) as its new will be Mattias Wallander. Wallander has 13 years’ experience in the field of share markets and analysis, including in the Baltic region, having previously managed the share market departments of the investment banks LHV and Evli, reported the press-centre of SEB.

“I’m really pleased that we’ve found an experienced professional to lead our Baltic share markets who’ll make a real contribution to building up the business,” said SEB Enskilda Corporate Finance director Henrik Igasta. “Mattias is highly respected among institutional investors investing in the Baltic region. We really do have a strong team in place!”

“It’s a real honour for me to be joining SEB’s Enskilda team,” Wallander said. “SEB has a strong investment banking platform and has been dedicated to the share market business for a long time, both of which are what you need to be successful on the Baltic markets.”

SEB Enskilda, which forms part of the SEB group, is the biggest investment bank in the Nordic region. It has offices in ten countries and employs 450 people. Its main areas of activity are corporate financing and the share markets in the Baltic States and Nordic countries. It has been operating in the Baltic States since 2007. The Baltic division of SEB Enskilda currently employs 23 people in corporate finance and five in its share market department in offices in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.
