OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2011. IBA-Georgia, subsidiary bank of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, has been admitted to a membership of the BACEE – Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe, reported the press-centre of IBA.

According to the MBA, the association was founded in 1996 in order to expand and strengthen business relations between its member banks and financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe and other countries.

To this end, BACEE provides consulting, information and analytical services to country and bank risks in countries of Central and Eastern Europe and in the banks of the region in the field of analysis of possibilities of foreign banking market. Association has created a unique database, which is one of the most important sources of information; member banks have free access to it. With a view to share experience with the banking community, BACEE regularly conducts seminars, conferences and training courses for banking staff.
