EVRAZ Launches «EVRAZ New Leaders 2011» Programme
OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2011. Evraz Group (LSE: EVR) has announced the launch of "EVRAZ New Leaders 2011", a multi-module integrated programme aimed at developing the Company’s personnel.
The programme is intended for employees with a higher technical education. In 2011, 57 employees of EVRAZ subsidiaries in Russia and elsewhere – Ukraine, North America, Europe and South Africa – will be trained.
The main aims of the programme include creating an international team of managers who will be ready to occupy leading positions at the Company’s enterprises; unifying managerial, engineering and technological skills; and developing projects to enhance EVRAZ’S production system.
The programme consists of five modules to be held from March to September 2011 at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. They consist of a theoretical part and a strategic project. Each module will last between six and eight academic days.
The education of EVRAZ’s future leaders will be in English under the tutorship of the Company’s top managers, professors of the world’s leading business schools and business management experts.
Commenting on the news, EVRAZ Group CEO Alexander Frolov said: "We are providing our employees with an opportunity to grow and to receive knowledge in one of the best business schools, although much will depend on them, their persistence and their proactive stance in life. The graduates of 2009-10 have already established their reputation in their daily work and play an active role in the Company’s development. The main goal of the programme is to produce a new generation of managers for EVRAZ in the future".
