Belarusian Beer Output Doubles in January-February

OJSC Krinitsa, based in
OJSC Olivaria, based in the city of
Heineken Breweries produced 1.312 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 45.1% on the year, and JOJSC Rechitsapivo produced 34,400 decaliters of beer in January-February, down 69.3%. Both companies are controlled by Heineken
OJSC Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 30.3% to 799,900 decaliters.
OJSC Brest Beer produced 394,100 decaliters of beer, up 30.1%.
Beer output in plastic bottles went up 13.3% to 4.019 million decaliters, in glass bottles fell 9.3% to 652,300 decaliters, in kegs increased 35.8% to 243,500 decaliters and in cans fell 26.7% to 28,200 decaliters.
Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 12.8% on the year in January-February to 4.253 million decaliters.
Krinitsa sales went down 15% to 1.147 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 18.9% to 896,500 decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 26.5% to 719,100 decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer went up 6.2% to 274,340 decaliters, of Heineken Breweries increased 48.9% to 1.209 million decaliters and of Rechitsapivo dropped 34.7% to 64,960 decaliters.
