OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2011. Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, has signed an agreement with JSC  General Construction Corporation to supply metal structures for a part of Western Speedway in St. Petersburg, from Stachek ave. to Kalinin street. The items in question include blocks, consoles and links weighing over 2380 tons in total. The work is to be completed in April 2011.

The Western Speedway is a 48.9 km. highway, going through the St. Petersburg districts facing the Gulf of Finland and connecting St. Petersburg Sea Port and the city’s main transport avenues with the bypass road and highways leading to the Baltic states, Scandinavia and the Russian regions.
