OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2011. The UX shed 3.58% over Friday and Saturday, having remained open an extra day to make up for the long four-day weekend last week. Activity on Friday was steady, but predictably Saturday was more muted, with equity turnover on the UX reaching just UAH 139.1 mln. It was blue chips Motor Sich (MSICH UK), down 0.62% over the two sessions, and Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), down 10.79%, that again led by volume. On Saturday, the best performers among the market’s most liquid stocks were Yasynivsky Coke (YASK UK), up 1.09%, and Avdiivka Coke (AVDK UK), up 0.90%; while the worst performers were Ukrnafta, down 6.94%, and Ukrtelecom (UTLM UK), down 1.09%.
