OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2011. To strengthen the legal regulation of subsoil use last year the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted two resolutions – "On approval of the provision in 2010 of special permits for use of mineral resources" (from 23.06.2010 № 596) and "On approval of carrying out of auctions of special permits for use of mineral resources in 2010 " (from 21.07.2010 № 662).

Overall in 2010 was issued 649 special permits for use of mineral resources (2009 - 656), including, - to geological studies - 319 and for extraction - 330.

Total receipts to the general fund of the State budget from the subsoil of land use are 319.35 million, which is bigger than previous similar indicator - 263.3 mln. in 2009. It should be note that significant portions of these revenues received from the sale of permits at auctions - 82 million UAH.

Also in 2010 issued 384 licenses for economic activities, including prospecting (exploration) - 149, mining -235, amounting to 306.6 thousand. In 2009 this figure was 193.7.
